IMPORTANCE OF GURU PEYARCHI

When guru Bhagavan moves from one rasi to another, it is said to be guru peyarchi. Lord guru Bhagavan(Deva Guru Brahaspati) is the guru for devas, and is responsible for all good things in our life, like marriage, children, health, wealth and happiness. He is considered as the god for Dhanus and Meenam Rasi.
If Guru is in the 4, 7 and 10th positions from the Lagna, then the person will be blessed with good health and wealth. It is said that Goddess Lakshmi Devi will come to his home, and will give all the prosperities in his life.
The 12th position is also called the peak position of Guru. This will result in a good life for the jathaka.
It is advisable for everyone, to go to temples and worship Lord Dakshinamoorthy(A form of Lord Shiva),along with the navagraha shrine in the temple. Guru Bhagavan(Deva guru Lord Brahaspati) will be pleased by worshipping Lord Dakshinamoorthy. We can do abhishekham and archanai for navagrahas, along with Dakshina Moorthy. Alangudi Abathsahayeswarar Temple is a famous Shiva temple, dedicated to Lord Dakshinamoorthy. It is a must for us to visit this temple, and to do archana, and various abhishekams to the god, in order to bring good fortunes in our life, and to live happily forever.
