Navratri is just around the corner, and we are entering into the most auspicious months of the year – with many celebrations to help us rejoice in these trying times.

If you have always wanted to have a sthapna at your home, but couldn’t because of hectic schedules – then this is the perfect time when people are spending more and more time at home, to participate in daily pooja and bhajans.

Come 17th October, we begin the nine auspicious days of worshipping goddess durga at your home temples. And when we do so, the most holy way to appease Devi Maa is by lighting an akhand jyot in these nine days.

The importance of akhand jyot has been very well known through the vedas and has been practiced over the years, to bring blessings and positivity at our home.

But it is very important to note that the jyot must never extinguish and that can be a careful task these days.

But when you use the floating oil wicks, for lighting this jyot, you can stay assured that these will easily last you about 7 hours at a stretch. If you want to check out more details about the same, then you can read it here.

When you use these oil wicks, you’ll be reassured that you only need to use a few wicks in a day and you can easily replace them during your daily prayers and whilst going to sleep.

This is the safest and the purest way you can illuminate Ambe Mataji’s sthapna and fulfill all the wishes that you had. Maybe this year can turn things around for the better and you will be able to maintain this tradition for years to come and teach your little ones about it too.
