1.Akshaytrithya is the holy festival of Hindus and Jains. Akshaytrithya is also called Akha-teej. On this day Lord Parashurama was born, he was the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Akshay trithya falls on the third day/tithi of Shukla Paksha of the month of vaishakh according to the Indian calendar.
