Ganesh Visarjan and Anant Chaturdashi 2026: Saying Goodbye with Gratitude and Carrying Bappa’s Wisdom Forward

Ganesh Visarjan and Anant Chaturdashi will be observed on Friday, 25 September 2026. Anant Chaturdashi is the most significant day for Ganesh Visarjan and marks the culmination of Ganeshotsav. The day is also dedicated to the worship of Lord Vishnu in His Anant form.

For several days, Lord Ganesha’s presence fills homes and community pandals with aarti, bhajans, flowers, prasad and joyful gatherings. Visarjan brings these celebrations to an emotional conclusion. Devotees bid farewell with the chant “Ganpati Bappa Morya, Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar Ya,” inviting Bappa to return again.
